Have you ever walked into a home store in September, picked up a single decorative pumpkin, and nearly dropped it at the price tag? Same here. Fall decor can get expensive fast, and it’s easy to feel like a cozy home needs a big budget. The truth is, it doesn’t. A few years ago, I…
15 Fall Decor Ideas for Small Apartments There’s a specific kind of relief that comes with the first cool morning of fall, and it’s worth letting your apartment catch up to that feeling. You don’t need a fireplace, a big dining table, or a porch full of pumpkins to make a small space feel like…
Seasonal decor prices are hard to ignore. A single ceramic pumpkin in a home store can cost more than a week of groceries, and a full matching set costs far more. Most of the pieces people love in fall photos can be made at home. A few years ago I decorated my whole place for…

You don’t need a sprawling porch or a giant farmhouse table to enjoy pumpkin season. Some of the coziest pumpkin displays I’ve ever pinned were in tiny apartments: a single white pumpkin on a windowsill, three minis on a bookshelf, a little velvet pumpkin on a nightstand. When I first started decorating, I thought pumpkins…
